The Olympics Track and Field events will reach the highpoint in this last part of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Today, 20th August, we have as main events the Men 200 meters Final with Usain Bolt as main favorite. The Jamaican runner has already written history with his 09.69 s World Record 100 meters sprint win. The 200 meters Heats have shown that Usain has big chances for a second Gold medal.

Another important event that will be played at the Bird's Nest today is the women 400 meters hurdles final and the Women's Hammer Throw Final. We also have plenty of qualifiers including: Men's 800 meters and 5000 meters Heats, Pole Vault Qualifiers and 110 meters Hurdles Semi-Finals. The Women's qualify today for the 200 meters race.

The Beijing Track and Field will host another 4 full days of exciting competition (20-23 August). We still have numerous finals to see, like Women's Javelin Throw, 200 meters (21 August); 5000 meters, 4x100 meters Relay, Long Jump (22 August); High Jump, 1500 meters and 4x400 meters Relay (23 August). Men will have the following track and field schedule: Triple Jump Final, 400 meters Final, 110 meters Hurdles Final (21 August); Pole Vault Final, 4x100 meters Relay; Javelin Throw, 800 meters, 5000 meters, 4x400 meters Relay.
