The Olympics Taekwondo tournament is one of the most spectacular events of this last part of the Beijing 2008 tournament. Both Men and Women encounters are very interesting and exciting to watch. We are during the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals stages for different weight categories. Today and tomorrow, 22nd and 23rd August will be the final days of the Taekwondo competition.

Taekwondo has been introduced as an Olympic event since Sydney 2000. It was previously a demonstration sport for the 1988 and 1992 Summer Games. In Taekwondo medals are awarded for 4 different weight categories, for both men and women. We include here the Flyweight, Lightweight, Middleweight and Heavyweight categories.
